Practice Entry: Welcome to my life
Hello all! Welcome to my blog, I hope all or most of you find interest in my exciting, or sometimes lack there of, life. I will post a lot of entries dedicated to some of my interest and some more serious topics. I cant wait to share my insight on life and I will be eager to read about you!
As you know, my name is Alexis Lopez, I am 19 years old and will be turning 20 this year! This is my second semester at Glendale Community College and I am currently in the EMT program. The program is my newest passion and I have only scratched the surface of what it is like being an EMT but I am excited for what the future holds for me. My end goal in being in the academy is to become a flight paramedic which is the same as a paramedic but more of search and rescue all around Arizona. I told myself once that I wouldn't be stuck behind a desk or in meetings all day long, instead I'd be out saving lives and I am close to achieving that. If everything goes well and I pass my national registry, by the end of the fall semester this year, I will be a certified EMT.
Besides that, I am also in the symphonic band and I play French horn. I have been playing for 4 years now and before that, Clarinet for 4 years. All through high school I was in marching band and Symphonic Band at Deer Valley High. It is another one of my passions and I hope to continue it for a very long time. While working, I hope to be part of an orchestra and play for more than just my parents at my school.
I am also very passionate about makeup and skin care! It is something that I share with a lot of people around the world and I am glad that there is such a big community dedicated to it. If you love makeup as much as I do, we could be best friends! But recently I have been taking a break from it due to the academy and all of the physical training, which is where I came up with my blog name (fun fact!)
So, I hope I can intertwine all of my hobbies together in this blog to make it more interesting for you! Even though neither of them correlate with the other, it's a metaphor for my life so it is relevant. I can't wait to see what the future holds for all of us and I hope this blog helps build a relationship with all of you and vice versa!
